The Three Gifts

'Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume
Breathes of life of gathering gloom
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.'

Part of Series: "The Three Gifts"

Many of us have sung the Christmas carol 'We Three Kings Of Orient Are'. These men travelled a long way to find the child.
As the Sundays lead up to Christmas Day we thought we would look at the gifts the wise men brought to Jesus.
Choosing gifts for a new born babe is not always easy.  There was no Mothercare to pop down to!  But these men were wise, they travelled a long way, their gifts came with special meaning and reasoning, fit for a new-born king.
Although we are sure you have heard the story many times, lets see if we can bring something new, a gift each Sunday for you.
The question is –  What would you have brought for Mary’s child?
