This year we are celebrating the stories of Zimbabwean women.
The meeting will be led by Alison Taylor, minister of Potter Street Baptist Church.
“I want to encourage people to come, it is open to everyone. As a woman minister I have the opportunity to share the gospel with whoever I choose to, whenever I choose to. Many women in the world are oppressed and suffer under various regimes. This Women’s World Day of Prayer gives them a voice and as much as I don’t think we do them justice often, I think it is worth celebrating together and giving thanks and having our eyes open to the struggles and successes of these nations.”
