Look to the Word – Paul’s letter to the Romans
The aim is to help you to go deeper into God’s word and to grow in the knowledge of God and His truth.
The book of Romans is the longest of all Paul’s letters. It’s magisterial and goes to sublime heights in beauty and insight. In essence, it’s theme is the Gospel of God. There is much in this book to help the Christian of today grow and mature in their faiths.
As Luther said ‘Romans is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul. It can never be read or pondered too much, and the more it is dealt with the more precious it becomes, and the better it tastes.’
The sessions are going to be once per month on a Thursday evening starting at 8pm and lasting for approximately one hour. We will be looking at approximately one chapter of Romans per session.
Join us for this exiting journey through the book of Romans. Looking to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faiths.
