A circular walk leaving from opposite the Forresters arms in Loughton (Baldwins Hill, Loughton IG10 1SF).
Stopping for tea and cake at the Tea Hut opposite the Kings Oak pub at High Beech (about a mile away), then walking back to the Forresters Arms. A certain level of fitness would be beneficial. Wellies will be needed! There will be mud. Sorry, but this walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggy’s.
We suggest arriving earlier to find a parking space as these are limited, and to allow you time to put your boots on etc.
Those not interested in the walk could still meet up for tea at the tea hut. This is the one opposite the Kings Oak pub and not the one near the Robins Hood roundabout. There might also be time for a sneaky pint in the Forresters Arms after the walk (if you aren’t too muddy).
