Guest Speaker: Asif Mall

Sunday, 4 June | 11:00 am

Guest Speaker:  Asif Mall

Asif was born to a Christian family, in Sahiwal, a city in the Pakistani Punjab. While growing up in Pakistan, Asif took the opportunity to study Islam from an Islamic viewpoint as well as observing the suffering of religious minorities, especially Christians, at the hands of extremist Islam; he had first-hand experience of watching this escalate during the military dictatorship of General Zia-ul-Haq, whose legacy of Islamisation continues to this day.  During this time Asif became a committed Christian, finding the tenets of Christianity more authentic than those of Islam.

As an able student Asif went on to Higher Education studying English Literature, Journalism and the Persian Language for his BA degree. He then went on to study English Literature at the MA level at Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan.  In 1996 he went to the UK to study for a BA (Hons) in Theology and Ministry from Sheffield University.

During his student years in Great Britain, Asif became involved with helping churches around the UK in supporting the persecuted church around the world; something that continues in his current role.

Asif Mall is the Coordinator of Markaz Tehqiq Al-Haq Centre for Research of the Truth and television host for Operation Mobilzation – Life Hope TV ministry reaching over a million Muslim weekly viewers in the UK and Europe.  An authority on reaching Muslims with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Asif’s message is one you will not want to miss.

God’s Gone Global

The church is often accused of being inward looking.

In this series we have visiting speakers from local, national and international groups coming to turn our view around.

So let’s look outside together.

Sunday Mornings at Harefield

What better way to start the week, or end it, then by coming together

Sundays are an encouraging, challenging, uplifting and fun place to be, incorporating fellowship, worship, teaching and ministry.

On Sunday mornings everyone is involved in the first part of the meeting before the kids go to their groups.

Harefield Church has access and facilities for disabled people.  An induction loop is in use during Sunday services for those who need it.

If you are coming by car Harefield has parking facilities.  You can also park on the road around the church at any time of the day.
